Alan Finkelstein established Capstone Printing in 2008, leveraging longstanding relationships with top brands in multiple industries. Manages multi-channel production solutions for a broad range of clients, overseeing commercial printing and retouching jobs for print, catalogs, direct mail campaigns, packaging, vehicle and building wraps, and large-scale graphics.
Accountable for all aspects of business operations including sales and new business development, customer relationships, RFPs, estimating, vendor relations, purchasing, billing, and personnel. Hired and on-boarded staff members for multiple roles, with responsibility for ensuring accuracy of RFPs and timely fulfillment of all contracts. Facilitates relationships with domestic and international suppliers, as well as internal/external stakeholders throughout the project management process. Maintains a detailed knowledge of the promotions and premiums industry.
Alan Finkelstein is the president and founder of Capstone Printing, and a commercial printing and production expert with over 30 years of industry experience. Over the course of his career, he built and operated two successful commercial printing companies in New York City, and established longstanding relationships with top agencies, brands, suppliers, and printing industry professionals.
Alan partners with clients to drive top-line revenue growth and margin enhancement, leveraging broad industry knowledge to develop creative business solutions and recommend cutting-edge technology and tools. He works with industry professionals across a diverse range of specialties to produce high-quality print and digital assets from concept through delivery.
He founded ALF Graphics in 1985 and grew the organization into a 20+ person operation until its sale to WorkflowOne in 1999. He remained on board as senior manager until 2008 when he founded his second company, Capstone Printing. In addition to running all aspects of business operations and managing an in-house team, Alan also partners with industry leader American Litho, overseeing their regional sales efforts for the New York market.
